Let's Play Shops Game - Practice using Money

Knowledge Builder Let's play Shops game

Aim of the game is to have the most of cash at the end of the game.

Each person starts the game with notes to the value of $50. Lay all the cards face up on the table in rows. Order of cards is not important. Children take turns to collect a card and pay the amount of money shown on the card into the cash drawer. They must collect at least 2 cards from each shop.

Play continues until each person has collected and paid for 8 cards (6 cards if there are 4 players). The person with the most money is the winner.
